We had a walk along the “Rijtgracht” in Avelgem and encountered no cyclists on this hiking trail!
It is a narrow path between the Scheldt marshes and the fields.
At the bottom of the valley Scheldt runs the Rijt or Rijtgracht which drains the fields.
