Sarzeau, a lovely city in the south of Brittany

Arrival at Sarzeau, a lovely city in the south of Brittany

Following the advice of a friend, we had chosen the town of Sarzeau for our holiday in Brittany. It was our first trip to Brittany and we really did not expect it. At the end of April – beginning of May 2022, it was excellent weather to spend a holiday here.

It was quiet, no tourist season. Beautiful houses and villas, exceptionally beautiful nature. Hereafter photos and story of this wonderful holiday.

We drove about 750 km to reach our destination, which is easily achievable in one day.

We drove over the Pont De Normandie

The Pont de Normandie is a cable-stayed road bridge that spans the river Seine linking Le Havre to Honfleur in Normandy, northern France. Its total length is 2,143.21 metres – 856 metres between the two piers. It is also the last bridge to cross the Seine before it empties into the ocean. Wikipedia

And in fact the the driveway has been widened and we could park our car on the driveway of the property!
